My name is Brent Hodges- I own and operate ReelFly Fishing Adventures and have been fly fishing since I was 8 years old.  I'm a TPWD licensed fishing guide and have been guiding for over 12 years.  As a full time firefighter I am lucky enough to spend a majority of my time as a professional fly fishing guide here on the Guadalupe River. I productively guide 4 major rivers in Texas, as well as fish rivers all over the Unites States in search of the best fly waters. My early career as a guide began in Alaska where I had the opportunity to work for King Salmon and Alagnak lodges. I then spent a few years working in fly shops and teaching casting seminars. In 2006, I traveled Chile and Argentina for a month as well as the Bahamas and landed my first Silver King in the Yucatan during the summer of 2010. I spend as much time on the water as I can.

I strive to provide the most enjoyable and memorable experience for my clients that I possibly can. Fly Fishing is truly my passion and I find the sport not only exciting, but a mainstay in my life. Logging so many days on the river has left my computer skills as a distant second. I've created this website with the hope that I can foster a love and appreciation for these amazing Hill Country rivers, as well as improve your knowledge and success in fly fishing Central Texas.
